Humboldt’s most famous songstress, Sara Bareilles, was home for the Thanksgiving Holiday. On Thursday, fan and local, Hannah Yost sent us this photo of the two of them. Yost said Bareilles was “the most kind and down to earth person. Really humble.”

A sample of Bareille’s warmth shows up in her Thanksgiving Day post.

A gracious young woman. Your music reflects your heart

  • Still the big hearted person she has always been. So wonderful you got home for the holiday. Continued success in all you do Sara.

  • The Beautiful songstress HAPPY HOLIDAYS

  • How nice is this? Very cool.

  • I met Sara at CLE airport on Friday October 13th. We were heading to
NYC where, ironically, my wife and I were headed to see WAITRESS The Musical for our 20th Anniversary! Sara was very gracious before that early morning flight as I told her what a huge fan I have been of her work since I first heard LOVE SONG. To meet her THAT particular day, and that Waitress was our first ever Broadway show, will never be forgotten. Great human!

  • She is my hero. I flew to New York twice to see her broadway show. It’s amazing! I had to go back because she was starring in it. Ironically, she was sick the day we were supposed to see her, but we stayed another day and saw her the next. I will even see it again next year when the show tours through Nashville. Lol I hope and pray to God I get to meet her some day! Of course it wouldn’t be a good selfie because I would be ugly crying. I love Sara Bareilles!

  • Love her.

  • At least she stopped singing for a few days.

  • Sarah who? Is she making america great again?

  • I sincerely appreciate Sara’s music. The words and notes she chooses to sing and play feel honest and genuine. Her lyrics make my friend and I feel like she is singing directly to us personally. Her songs capture many moments in our relationship. Thank you.
