An officer is chasing a stolen vehicle, a black 2005 Xterra, southbound on Hwy 101. We began listening to the scanner at the Fernbridge exit. The suspect vehicle took the 12th Street exit in Fortuna. The vehicle got back on Hwy 101 at Kenmar.

“Speeds in excess of 110 mph,” said the officer as the pursuit neared Hwy 36.

“Terminate the pursuit,” came a report over the scanner.

UPDATE 9:57 p.m.: The vehicle was reported stolen today from Fortuna.

If that is one of the stations purchased by Sinclair Broadcasting, they can afford one. Problem is that, no matter the circumstances, they will report that ‘the car was being recklessly driven by a Democrat!’.

Is this the same vehicle that crashed in Eureka at 14th & Broadway?

Car striped along side the road on Highway 36 somewhere. Probably set on fire. People like to abandoned them in the parking lot of the Grange.
