Man Has 2 Broken Legs After Being Thrown Out of Vehicle During Traffic Collision on Hwy 36

Traffic Collision Car AccidentA vehicle went off Hwy 36 in Trinity County about 15 miles west of Platina at approximately 12:52 p.m.

An occupant, a man, was thrown out of the vehicle and is “at the bottom of canyon awake…[Girlfriend] is with him…She’s a medical assistant,” according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page. The CHP page also said the man has two broken legs.

Please watch for emergency vehicles in the area.

Let’s blame the deer, bigfoot, a low flying condor as the scapegoat. Human stupidity can’t possibly be a cause and affect here. Was he carrying a new dubbie harvest to sell in Arcata? Cars don’t crash by themselves and spew the occupants out. Glad no one died,but what lesson did he (they) learn form this accident???????
