This is a press release from the Eureka Police Department. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

On 11-02-17 at about 10:12 am, an officer of the Eureka Police Department conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle at 3rd / ‘B’ Streets. The vehicle yielded and the driver was contacted. Shortly after contacting the driver, he abruptly drove off east on 3rd Street. A pursuit was initiated. The vehicle traveled through several intersections without stopping for stop signs. Due to the threat the drivers actions posed to the civilians in the area, the pursuit was terminated. The vehicle was last seen traveling south on ‘N’ Street from 4th Street.

A short time later, officers located the vehicle unoccupied and parked in a driveway at the 1600 block of Nedra Street. The vehicle was processed and towed from the scene.

This is an open investigation and anyone with information concerning this incident is urged to contact Officer Nantz at 707 441-4060.

Below is scanner traffic of a BOLO published yesterday about the incident:

  • That photo is not Nedra – but Myrtle Avenue at 17th, across from the former Patriot gas station.

  • Another sketcher on the loose.good old tweekreaka

  • The house across from Patriot is a known drug house and several calls and arrests have been made over the past three years. It’s the house that is set back from Myrtle and has several vehicles and a boat in the front area. Our neighborhood watch has it on our radar. How do I know it’s a drug house you might ask? A drug addicted relative (most of us are touched with a drug affected family member) told me she bought drugs all the time from there.
