“Please be advised of any potential health air quality conditions… ”
So, Health Institute is making smoke that irritates people with lung disorders. Nice.
Why ?
The People have long used fire on the land to keep it healthy and prosperous.
Vegetation fire smoke is less harmful than the garbage my neighbor burns in their burn barrel (or pile) near or within the city limits… where weekly trash collection is manditory.
>”Vegetation fire smoke is less harmful than the garbage my neighbor burns…”
Why not tell that to the folks in Willow Creek, Happy Camp, Hupa, Brookings, Santa Rosa, Eureka (etc) (etc).
Nasty summer.
>”The People have long used fire on the land to keep it healthy and prosperous.”
True enough… but not in the middle of a town.
Health Institute Smoke. Not a good match. (no pun intended)
Idiotic. Your responsibility to your neighborhood out weights your need to burn.
