[UPDATE 2:23 p.m.] River Fire Near Mad River: 85 Acres, 25% Contained
spread of the fire has been stopped. The crews are continuing to improve containment lines today. They will be carefully watching as a threat remains to 138 kV Transmission lines.
According to witnesses, several structures were lost before the crews arrived on the scene. At this point, there hasn’t been an official release about the structures affected. We’ll update when more information is available.
UPDATE 2:11 p.m.: According to Mad River District Ranger Dan Dill from the Six Rivers Forest Service just before 1 p.m., “[T]he fire is 148 acres and 80% plus” contained.
Yesterday, not long before noon, a fire broke out across the river from the town of Mad River on the west flank of South Fork Mountain about 4000 feet due east of the Six Rivers Forest Service Compound.

Helicopters dump water. However, if retardant got on it, that would be problematic.
with DAP on yo dope you would get a different high. the last 2 letters stand for ammonium phosphate, take your pick on the first letter.
