Vehicle Hits Power Pole in King Salmon, Lines Arcing, Driver Fled

Traffic Collision Car AccidentAt approximately 10:25 p.m., a white Honda Civic hit a power pole in King Salmon fracturing it and causing lines to arc. The driver fled on foot before emergency personnel arrived on scene. The Honda was left at the scene with major front-end damage.

Our power kicked back on but I do see the smoke billowing, looks like it’s on buhne st. Never mind. The power is out-out. I can’t see anything now.

King Salmon is home to Gil’s, one of the best seafood restaurants on the North Coast, but open only for breakfast and lunch. A local kind of place.
