Miranda Community Services District has what Kathy Eldridge, the former manager calls, “a major water leak in the South side of town.”  Some residents and businesses are without water. “It was a 4 foot split in a 4 inch main line,” she explained. “They got ahold of Wendt Construction who will bring down the parts to repair in the morning. Please be patient…[We] don’t have an estimated time of fix.”

She suggests that residents make sure they have enough water for the night.

The water problem isn’t affecting the schools.

UPDATE 2:20 p.m.: According to Kathy Eldridge, “Miranda water is being turned back on. The pipe has been fixed. A big thank you to Wendt Construction for all [their] help.”

Thanks for all your hard work Mark Carey & the Miranda Water district. I see the correlation between earth quakes and broken pipes in Miranda.
