[Update Thursday: Found] Missing Woman Last Known to Be in Trinidad/Arcata Area

Jaidin Nouvel Greer
Jaidin Greer has not been in contact with her family since August 24. Her family has reported her as missing to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department and is requesting the community’s help in locating her.

Jaidin is 28 years old. She is 5’10” tall and weighs between 115 and 120 pounds. She has light brown, shoulder length hair, and brown eyes.

She drives a 1988 blue Toyota 4Runner, 2 door with Idaho plates #1A ZR017and three bumper stickers on the back– one reads “Labor creates all wealth” and another states, “Justice Democracy Equality.”

If you have any information, please contact the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office at (707) 445-7251.

UPDATE Thursday: Jaidin has been found! Her mom tells us, “we just found our daughter Jaidin. She is alive and well. Was camping and lost her phone. Because of your articles and the police helping us, so many tips came in that took us to the exact spot she was camping. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Try contacting Food Not Bombs on Alliance in Arcata. They’re in yellow house next to the gas station, the cross street is Spear. (At least that’s where they were when I lived in Arcata, it’s been a while.)

She was last seen Monday (Labor Day) in Trinidad. Blue 4 Runner with Idaho plates has been parked on View Street between Murphy’s market and Trinidad bay RV park. It was parked there before.

Did you PM Kym about this so she can pass it on? It sounds important.

Frightening to see another young lady missing in Humboldt. This county has way too many missing.
Praying for her safe return.

Sounds as if she doesn’t know anyone is looking for her? Positive sightings a good sign.

Funny that the police have been in contact with her. Seems to me that this is a case of someone not wanting to be bothered with whomever is looking for them.

Where do you see that police have been in contact with her? I have only seen that in one comment, I haven’t heard that from her family or any of the stories that I have seen. Not to mention, that isn’t behavior she has exhibited in the past. People don’t just drop out of contact with everyone that matters to them. Either way, if she doesn’t want people to look for her, she could just call and say “Hey, I am fine don’t bother me”… Still, the cops need to make sure she is alright and isn’t under any duress.
