Complete asses stole those. Hope they’re caught and humiliated.
agree…hope the thieves are quickly brought to justice. hopefully the thieves are as dumb as most Humboldt criminals, in which case the canoes will be back in good hands soon.
So sorry for the loss of these sacred canoes. May they be swiftly recovered and the thieves caught and punished with more than probation. They ought to be put in service to the tribe until they understand the gravity of their actions.
An old native American punishment for theives n murderers. Take them into the forest, dig a hole three feet wide and five feet deep, bury them up to there necks with there arms at there side. Take out a blade and cut there cheek. They will live for 2-3 days while first the insects will be attracted to the blood such as ants, beetles, etc then come the rats racoons and other varmits followed by bears n mountain loins. All the while u can think of what you’ve done and not be able to do anything else about your demise. Screaming will only keep the bigger animals at bay for so long…..😳
Which “old native American” tribe used this punishment? Absurd to ascribe one thing to all the different cultures on this continent. I don’t think that was a Yurok punishment.
Didnt say it was……
I would like to know which tribe this was as well. Can you let us know?
Watched to much cowboy and Indian movies I think?
I hope the canoes are safely returned to the people who care for them asap. This is not just ordinary material things but beautiful and meaningful. So many eyes will be looking for them that they hopefully are found fast.
