Vehicle in the Eureka Slough

Traffic Collision Car AccidentA vehicle went off northbound Hwy 101 and into the Eureka Slough near Harper’s Motors about 7:19 p.m. According to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page, no one was injured but the vehicle was stuck in the water. A tow truck has been requested.

Nope just eyes on phones instead of road.
At 55 mph you are moving at about 80.667 feet every second. So, in 11 seconds, you would travel about 887.337 feet. (80.667 x 11 = 887.337).
A 3 second glance and you’ve travelled around 240 feet, enough to go off the road if youre not careful.
