I commute thru that area 4-5 times a week. I see more accidents in that section of highway than anywhere else… Good thing she had cell service, there is a dead spot north of Weott.

Heavy deer traffic there. All those skid marks are deer related. Before the guard rails were installed, many many folks went over the edge.

101. Highway to death. Advice? Slow down, drive sober! Leave your phone in your bag. Watch out for creatures and objects in the roadway.

A prayer for Humbolt : Dear God, I hope you arrive at your destination without getting hurt or hurting anyone else. Amen.

Thanks!
