[UPDATE 8:14 p.m.] Firefighters Responding to an Escaped Controlled Debris Fire Burning an Outbuilding to the West of Scotia

At approximately 7:50 p.m. firefighters were dispatched to the 1600 block of Monument Road west of Scotia. A controlled burn escaped and an outbuilding is on fire, according to the Incident Commander on the scene.
UPDATE 8:09 p.m.: The copter is being released from the fire which usually though not always means that the fire is coming under control.
UPDATE 8:14 p.m.: The fire is knocked down. Mop up is happening. It is expected to take about two hours.
