The sheriffs have a black SUV pulled over and the occupants are being held at gunpoint at Tompkins Hill Road as you reported? Maybe the same vehicle??

Isn’t that sad you have to start your post with “I’m not trying to be racists.”

Yes!!!!! 🙄 This is just absolutely ridiculous!!! The other day I getting out of my car at the park with my kids 5,3,1. There was a group a young teens sitting on the grass. My oldest was just standing there dilly dallying by the kids, and I told her to keep going towards the playground. This blonde white boy said “It’s because you’re black.” I was soooo appalled this little boy had the audacity to say that to me!!!! This happened a few after the stabbing in Arcata. I was so angry I said “EXCUSE ME???!!!! Do not ever say anything like that in front of children, especially mine!! It’s because of people like you why stuff like this is going on!” (Nice version.) It still makes my blood boil even thinking about it. I’m scared for my children to grow up in this community. 😥

They are angry about being black and don’t want people in parks reminding them about it, is what I gather.

Some people claim being black is a crime, but it’s not true.

There are plenty of black people walking around, meaning it’s not illegal to be black.

If you web search, is it against the law to be black, you’ll notice it’s not a crime to be black.

The poster should not worry about this anymore.

Sorry I can see how confusing that could have been. Guest said isn’t it sad you have to start your comment off saying “I’m not being racist” and yes it is! I was just stating what happened to me and my kids at a park. We are a white family, and so was the boy accusing me of not letting my kids just stand around and hang out because there was a black kid with them. Which in all honesty, I didn’t even notice until I heard that boy say something. It just makes me sad and scared what my littles will have to go through growing up.

As parents we keep our children safe, I wouldn’t have even parked nearby.

Well, then it’s the wrong vehicle, every time an apb goes out dozens of vehicles matching, or even not matching the description get pulled over, cops love it.

If your loved one has been shot, wouldnt you want, even expect the police to act deligently? Thoroughly? Unless police have a detailed description of a vehicle involved in a crime, they do what they must.
On the flip, side, they did catch a bad guy, just not the shooter.

I know the folks that live in this house, one is an artist and the other a golf pro. It’s a shame that bad things happen to good people, sure hope that justice was served and that this guy doesn’t hurt anymore innocent people.

If someone is in my house and I see them get into a car, I would think I would at least get a tag number. Something sounds funny or it could just be me.
