Something to Crow About–
Last weekend, the Humboldt Poultry Fanciers Association held their annual Winter Show at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds. We don’t have a list of all the winners but this cute little tyke took first place in her age group.
Congratulations to Miranda 4-H member, Kelsey McMahan, on her adorable success.

Love these articles. Thanks kym!!
My sister in Sacramento has a chicken house with a few pet chickens that lay eggs for her and keep the bugs out of her back yard. A few short years ago it was unheard of to not have chickens in your yard. Chickens are great to have around.
Way to go Kelsey!!! I’d bet my sister is jealous.
Good job!
The most adorable thing I’ve seen all month!
We need to train young farmers to support good farming techniques. Hope she is a role model for other kids, and that the program in relatively independent (of agro-corp influence)!
High five youngster! Keep up the good work!
Omg, too much cuteness!!
