[UPDATE 4:32 p.m.] Woman With Gun in Hoopa Area

Breaking news graphicAt 10:57 a.m., the report of a woman screaming, “Help, he has a gun” sent a Hoopa Tribal Police officer to Little Moon Lane. According to a report from an officer over the scanner, when the Tribal Officer arrived on the scene, he saw a woman with a gun standing on a porch.

According to the report, the woman said something derogatory to the Tribal officer. “So he scurried out of the area,” said the reporting officer.

How the hell do you turn “the woman said something derogatory to the Tribal officer. “So he scurried out of the area.” into “No surprise Humboldt County and tribal all went scurrying” ?

Even Jesse came down from the ridgetop and moved to Hawaii. I think that song was done best by Ronstadt…

“Come on people now, smile on your brother, everybody get together now, try to love one another, right now…” Youngbloods

I’m so glad no one was shot. Great job to our LEO’S and (according to the scanner ) A family member who helped talk this person out. Thank God no shots fired and this person will get the help they need.
