Google maps says the cross street for 700 Buhne Street is H Street.
When information is coming in from the scanner, the details can become garbled. The first reports say 700 block of Buhne. The latter report from the Bolo says Buhne and Williams.
Hope the man/woman/child is ok
I hope the person is okay but why would the truck leave? It use to be in the vehicle code book that you are to open door on traffic side when it is safe to do so, just saying.
Might not have even heard anything with the radio on or having a cellular conversation.
How wouldn’t the truck have taken the door off?
If the door wasn’t open the injured person may have been too far in the road.
Wonder if they were hit in front or back?
sounds like it was not their door that was struck, but the person. the person may have been next to their vehicle, waiting to open the door, and was stuck by the passing vehicle, which obviously had reason to run
And the…..???
Ack! Fixed.
