Injury Accident Near Benbow

About 3 p.m. an accident on Hwy 101 in the Benbow area sent one patient to the hospital with mild to moderate injuries.

According to reporter Bobby Kroeker, a car was heading north and for some reason crossed the center divide into the southbound lanes. The vehicle then went off the road near the Benbow exit. The California Highway Patrol Incident page indicates that the driver said that a blown tire threw him off course.
