Water Is Life: A Letter to the Editor About Standing Rock
To the Community,On Tuesday, November 15th, 2:30-4PM join a nationwide day of action in solidarity with those at Standing Rock, and demand the Federal government and the Army Corps reject this pipeline.
Location: Army Corps of Engineers 601 Startare Dr #100 Woodley Island Eureka, CA
Time: 2:30-4PMWe will peacefully gather to sing, dance, and pray. Theodore Hernandez of the Wiyot Tribe will be leading us in prayer. Also, we would love y’all to help capture photos from the event.
Indigenous leaders are calling on us to take to the streets and disrupt “business-as-usual” one week after the election to demand that President Obama’s Army Corps of Engineers and the incoming administration stop the Dakota Access Pipeline — and all those after it.
See you there! Water is Life!

Everyone knows how dangerous oil pipe lines can be if anything happens to them these people’s land will be ruined forever and they will be displaced that would be a very unfortunate day.

Their way of life IS life. We all should want this- for them, for all living relatives.
Where will they park for this event?
I’m guessing woodley island marina parking lots.
Thank you, Robie, unflagging social justice warrior, for continuing the struggle for all our relations.
Will it be open bar at the marina?
in addition to tomorrow’s event, there is a call to prayer today, worldwide, at 4pm, and/or sunset. People are going to their local waterways to pray for Standing Rock and Water. water is life.
