[UPDATE: School Reopens Tomorrow/Water Restored] Water Main Break Closes Miranda Schools

SFHSAccording to Catherine Scott, Superintendent of the Southern Humboldt Unified School District,

Miranda has a water main break so all schools in Miranda will be closed. SFHS, MJH and Osprey. All elementary schools are open.

We’re attempting to find out more about the water break.
UPDATE 8:09 a.m.: South Fork High School’s Facebook page says,

Students already on a bus will be brought to school.
Buses will return after the elementary run to pick students up and return them to home.
Buses expect to depart Miranda a little after 9.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

UPDATE 9:12 a.m.: According to Jason Saloman of the Miranda Community Service District, “The break is a 4 inch line that effects the high school and a few customers, most of the town still has water, repair crews are enroute.”

UPDATE 9:30 p.m.: According to Catherine Scott, school will be back in session. And according to the Miranda Water Board, the water is now flowing like it should.

HOJ apologies for the Halloween dream connected to SFHS’s cheap maintenance not watering sports grass (HOJ in the SFHS girls soccer playoff post – Go Cubs, should have had a home game)…….mess with the bulls (Cubs), HOJ imposes ya get the horns(Claws)…….the power of prime penalty….

Tough luck, but bad karma for the outcomes the school district creates that take away opportunities in academics/sports for all its students, including…….

Student Athletes…….

Consider this a “break” this time on the water issues raised by HOJ, and do the right thing for the 🐻’s and water your darned campuses, quit being so penny pinching cheap on watering the campuses👻…..boo!

Because drought couldn’t have possibly had any effect on their decision not to water

Penny pinching watering predates by two decades the drought ascertation.

It is called “priorities”……injuries are a priority for the school district, obviously since water costs more than injuries, apparently…..

Already did, and in return for the civil service, the field caused health ailments and injuries that the school district will never pay for……not to mention student safety issues……so, what we learn is “givers get injured” to the benefit of not the givers.

Way to nickname yourself and then refer to yourself in the third person, you yourself and him must be extremely bored, this line break has nothing to do with anything you stated.
