This man is my husband. The SUV that hit him ran the red light going at least 10 mph over the speed limit. He plowed my husband 10 feet out of the intersection and into the ICU. The eureka police didn’t do a bac test or any other took statements and let him drive off while taking myself to jail for being hysterical after watching my husband fly and land unconscious. Way to go EPD.

But still they keep saying, trust us, we’re doing such a great job!!! They haven’t killed any unarmed suspects lately so I guess they figure it’s time to “Act Normal”??? again!!!!

“A male has been left in the road unconscious after being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of E and Harris Streets at approximately 11:45 p.m. Medical and law enforcement are responding to the scene.”

Versus

“The eureka police didn’t do a bac test or any other took statements and let him drive off while taking myself to jail for being hysterical after watching my husband fly and land unconscious. Way to go EPD.”

Response: A hit and run melodramatized news story or police question and release driver?

Who went to jail for being obstructive?

Heads or Tails…….flipped

The man who was hit was talking and making noise before the ambulance left the scene. I hope he is alright!

He is in the ICU!!! if gurggling blood from a colapsed lung is what you consider talking you are a special kind of person.

Always curious to understand the hitee:

1) clothes/color

2)income level

3) what was going on at the time……off work, a midnight excercise stroll or a mischievous drug deal or something else most people refrain from at midnite…..odd hour for most people to stroll for a metaphorical walk in the park, considering all the evil at night……like creepy clowns.

Hope the injury is not from an illegitimate claim……any witnesses……

Street surveillance cameras……or, another unsolveable collision…?

Hell, yeah! It’s the witching hour! Run ’em down!

Is that what you’re saying?

“It’s midnight — he’s probably some poor f****r in dark clothes doing a drug deal.”

A collapsed lung sounds like a magnificent way to file a bogus claim, Henchman. You kill me.
