Fire rekindled (or restarted) again this morning. This time on east side of island, encompassing much of the east side. flames clearly visible. Hard to believe it smoldered hot enough after yesterday’s drenching to work its way over the top and downslope to where it is now on its own. Low tide about 3AM this morning, time enough for someone to get over there, restart it, and get out before everyone wakes up. Anyone checking on arson? The explosions from mortars near Trinidad at all hours of the night has become a regular occurrence, I wonder if there is a connection.
