A scooter actually IS a vehicle. Perhaps you didn’t realize that?

Did you see the photo? That scooter doesn’t look like a vehicle to me.

Wow, another ho-hum day in so-hum. Yawn. OK, a scooter is a vehicle. A salmon is a fish. Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana. Yawn, gasp. Zzzzzzzzz. . . . . . Snort.

I don’t know what happened regarding this particular collision.

Regarding the confusion and discussion of whether a scooter operator is a pedestrian or a motor vehicle operator, the lines have become blurry in the last few years with all the various electric powered devices.

Regardless of the legal definition, operators of these electric powered devices need to either operate as a vehicle, in the road, following the rules of the road, OR operate on the sidewalk like a pedestrian, and behave like a pedestrian by stopping and looking for vehicles before entering the street. Pick one and stick with it!

Yep….all the derision in the world will not make a device with wheels a pedestrian. RHBB is a vehicle for information…no wheels at all. LOL

Lots of texting and driving. In LA the police do not enforce the cel phone laws so maybe APD needs to step it up and make sure those 70% of frosh class from LA know that it’s not cool to text when driving especially thru neighborhoods especially on a wknd.
C’mon APD I know you’re lackluster but get the few cops you have that are not from LA to enforce these laws.
