Single Vehicle Rollover Just East of Whitethorn Junction

A pickup rolled over about 1/4 east of the the Whitethorn Junction at approximately 6 p.m. The driver managed to get himself out and was talking to bystanders, according the California Highway Patrol. An ambulance is on the way.

Grand Prix racing has rules at least. The Briceland road has none.

Heard the tires screech. Pretty sure he was going faster than 45. But so does most everybody on that road. Lucky nobody else was hurt.

He was doing the speed limit. The tierod broke and locked the wheel up turning left. There was nothing he could do. He is luckily ok. Bumps and bruises but nothing serious. It’s my vehicle that my brother was driving.

I’ve seen a few Toyota’s on the side of the road recently with broken tie rods or ball joints. used to be able to beat the crap out of those trucks without so much as a bent tie rod, guess that’s why I don’t buy Toyota anymore. Or perhaps it’s just because the roads are so effed up.
