Possible Jumper on the Samoa Bridge
A woman was reported to be sitting on the “first span of the Samoa Bridge with one leg over the railing,” according to scanner traffic. Law enforcement and medical personnel are responding as of 9:30 a.m.
The Coast Guard and Eureka Police have been asked to respond.
Please avoid the area for now.

Its not nearly high enough to cause death. Maybe if you dove headfirst, you mud- torpedo and suffocate.
You are right, and being paralyzed from the neck down isn’t going to help with her mental health.
The should have stopped and talked to her to see her demeanor before calling it in. Some people like sitting in weird thrill seeking high spots. And if she was suicidal waiting for someone else to get there is a sketchy game.
