[UPDATE 2:40 p.m.: Open] Asphalt Truck Accident Causes One-Way Traffic Control West of Bridgeville on Hwy 36
According to Caltrans,
State Route 36 in Humboldt County is currently under one-way traffic control approximately one mile west of Bridgeville due to a collision involving an asphalt truck, which dumped its contents onto the highway. The eastbound lane is currently impassable, but traffic is being routed onto the westbound lane.
There is currently no ETO for restoration of normal two-way traffic
UPDATE: Caltrans says as of 2:40 p.m., “The highway is now open to normal two-way traffic.
