Fortuna Remembers

Main Street Fortuna was decked out in flags early this morning, thanks to the hard work of Fortuna Sunrise Rotary.  The flags are being sponsored by local citizens and business owners in conjunction with the ‘Flags on Main Street Program.’  Service groups are then assigned a holiday and are given the task of placing the flags up and removing them at dusk.  You can next see these beautiful flags on Independence Day (July 4th – thank you to Sylvia who caught the mistake on the holiday name) when the Fortuna Kiwanis will be placing them out.
