[UPDATE] Breaking News: EPD Operation at Motel 6
The Eureka Police Department has a room at the Motel 6 under watch. Officers arrived on the scene sometime before 11:45 a. m. They appear to be zeroing in on a room located on the second floor.
From scanner traffic the incident appears to be connected to a suspect believed to have a firearm or firearms.
We have requested more information from Eureka Police Department.

UPDATE 5/31: Brittany Powell of the Eureka Police Department tells us that officers were unable to confirm information from the reporting party and no arrests were made.
