[UPDATE 10:21 a.m.] Convoy Gathering Beside Hwy 101

marijuana 1 featureWe received a report that approximately eight Humboldt County Sheriff vehicles with a wood chipper are gathering off Hwy 101 near the Hwy 36 offramp.

We’re categorizing this as a cannabis raid but it’s vaguely possible that they are doing something else. Let us know any updates.

UPDATE 10:21 a.m.: According to a witness, Shortly after 8:00 this morning the convoy of vehicles and chipper drove through Myers Flat headed presumably towards Fruitland Ridge.”

Do you think the people might pick up their plants and property and run somewhere?

After reading Loco it sounds as if it might be another park raid like Cuneo Creek or something similar…BLM etc.

Exactly, i grew up here, where the majority of my friends and classmates parents worked in the timber industry 30 years ago and when that went to shit…..most of those who lost their jobs stayed in the woods but stopped cutting trees and started planting the weed. If not for the growers, this county would be a 3rd world country. People can hate, thats cool. All entitled to their opinions……so keep on giving those busting their asses on the hill a heads up….

Do you think this glamourous way of life in the area will be sustainable after full legalization?

There is no tipping people off by saying that there is a sherif convoy headed in any direction. Good God how many places could they possibly be going?

Humboldt and Mendo are Amateur Hour compared to Trinity. Take a flight on Google Earth over Trinity Pines.
