At approximately 2:30 AM this morning (5/1), multiple agencies from the Eel River Valley responded to the area of Blue Slide Road, due to a traffic accident. The involved vehicle was reported to be approximately 250 feet down an embankment.
First responders from City Ambulance, Rio Dell, Ferndale, Fortuna, Scotia, and Loleta Fire Departments, Humboldt County Sheriff, Rio Dell PD, and CHP immediately responded to the scene. Because of the distance the vehicle was from the roadway and the rough, steep terrain, specialized personnel from the Eel River Valley Technical Rescue were called in to assist with the rescue.

April 31st, huh?
Fixed! It was before my morning caffeine.
how was the accident discovered and did the person survive ??
Good work team! Go ERVTRT! Looks like a hell of a drop.
So, I guess the plan to get from the Palace to Rio Dell while avoiding the CHP didn’t go so well.
Seeing that the driver did not get arrested … your theory is incorrect
