Sheriff Seeks Two for Firing Weapon During Course of Attempted Robbery

This is a press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

HCSO Humboldt County Sheriff's Office BlurOn Thursday, March 17, 2016, at about 6:37 a.m., Humboldt County Deputy Sheriffs responded to Glendale Rd. near Larsen Heights for a report of an attempted robbery. When deputies arrived on scene they spoke with the 57 year old male victim. The victim told deputies he had been walking on Glendale Rd when a 1990’s model red Chevy Suburban parked on the side of the road ahead of him. The victim walked passed the vehicle and was stopped by two male suspects. One of the suspects brandished a firearm and demanded the victim’s wallet. The suspect fired the gun at the pavement several feet from the victim. The victim dropped the clothes he was holding and walked away. The suspect fired several more rounds. The victim ran away and called the Sheriff’s Office.

Suspect #1 is described as a white male adult, approximately 24 years old, 6’ tall, 170 lbs, with blonde hair and a thin mustache, wearing blue slacks, tennis shoes, and a tan shirt.

Suspect #2 is described as a white male adult, approximately 22 years old, 6’01” tall, 150 lbs, wearing baggy blue pants with faded vertical streak and a blue hooded sweatshirt.

Generation X is the one that follows Baby Boomers, born in the early 60s through early 80s. These guys would be the children of Gen Xers, the Millennials.
