The name sounds familiar. I think this guy is the same that escaped handcuffed from a deputy a couple months ago on Stagecoach Rd. in Westhaven.

Don’t blame the 20 year olds. Blame the parents and the community. Survival mode created by bad decions will create even worse decisions. He is young enough to straighten out if he can suck it up and be a man. Watch ur finger pointing mister.don’t blame youth for their craziness. How is he supposed to fly like an eagle when he is surrounded by a flock of Turkeys. Haha

I am not sure if youth should be an excuse for deplorable choices to turn to a life of frequent contact with the police due to one’s decisions which go against civility.

Civility is multifaceted.

Choices made to disengage from the educational process, develop functional life skills, communication skills, job skills, a work ethic, and responsibility for providing for one’s financial needs are instilled first in the home, and then one’s peer group.

Far too many of our young adults seem to steer towards a life of unhealthy choices which lead them down a dark perilous path towards no good end.

As a prior posted said, “Man up.”

What does that mean?

To make amends.

To make the choice to turn from the current path to one that may exclude peers or family members that are toxic for one to make excellent choices in how their future will be.

Thankfully the young man did get caught.

Maybe he will start seeing a better life ahead of him.

If I was a teen looking towards the future and knowing that working a job for federal minimum wage land you with a yearly income that falls under the govt poverty rate, it’d be hard to resist some black market and pretty stupid behavior. Not excusing the thieving, just saying.

The federal minimum wage is at $7.25 before taxes and has not been raised since 2007.
Even at $10 an hour its still monthly $1450-1500 after taxes.
