Two Three-Vehicle Crash Involving Tree East Of Carlotta, Highway Blocked

According to the California Highway Patrol incident page, three two vehicles were involved in an accident east of Carlotta. A silver Plymouth reportedly crashed into a tree. There are early reports that at least one person has been injured. We’re still piecing this together, but we will update this post so we have more information.

Update 4:27 p.m.: Two people were reportedly injured. One person has moderate injuries and another has minor injuries.

Update 4:30 p.m.: The California Highway Patrol incident page says this is a major injury accident. However, moderate injuries were reported over the scanner.

Update 4:34 p.m.: One person suffered head injuries, according to scanner traffic.

UPDATE 4:43 p.m.: Traffic is backing up on Hwy 36.

I drove passed it it was a Chevy 4×4 they both looked like they head on each other the other car looked like a 1998 mustang silver in color
