On Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at approximately 10:39 p.m. Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Fortuna Police Department Officers were conducting follow up to a vehicle investigation on the 2100 block of River Walk Dr, Fortuna. It was determined the license plates on the vehicle were stolen and did not belong to the vehicle. Deputies contacted the occupants of the residence, 38 year old Dale Baldridge, and 26 year old Natashia Aspinwall. Baldridge had several outstanding warrants for his arrest, and is on the Southern Humboldt’s Most Wanted poster.

Deputies entered the residence per the suspect’s probation search clause, and located approximately 35 lbs of shake and processed marijuana bud, approx. 4 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approx. 12 grams of suspected heroin, keys for the stolen vehicle, drug paraphernalia, suspected butane hash oil, several canisters of butane, counterfeit currency, a printer with $100 bills on the copying screen of the printer, and credit cards not belonging to Baldridge and Aspinwall. After further investigation, it was determined the vehicle was also listed as stolen out of Crescent City.

Baldridge and Aspinwall were transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility and booked for manufacturing counterfeit bills, possession of counterfeiting equipment, possession of a stolen vehicle, manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of concentrated marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of terms of probation. Baldridge was also booked on his outstanding warrants. Dale Baldrige’s bail has been set at $500,000, and Natashia Aspinwall’s at $500,000.

Anyone with information for the Sheriff’s Office regarding this case or related criminal activity is encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Office at 707-445-7251 or the Sheriff’s Office Crime Tip line at 707-268-2539.

This isn’t exactly the right place to post this but here it is. So the femal humboldt most wanted included a girl sara , the charges that got her on the most wanted poster are for stealing a drill! A DRILL . I’d like to know why the police catch someone with an ounce of heroin and release them but someone who stole a drill years ago makes the most wanted list. How rediculius is that. . The system is broken

I agree. Do they just randomly pick and choose people or what. Because i know there are people wanted for way more than just possession charges but yet it seems like those people are the ones that make the most wanted list and the people wanted for more serious crimes are the ones who don’t make the list. Whats up with that????

Sweetybear, I am confused with your logic. I dont steal ANYTHING so to minimize guilt is a flawed philosophy. My parents always taught me that if you don’t break the law you have nothing to worry about. So if you are just stealing drills, stop doing that so you don’t have to face the public shame of being a thief. Or better yet, just turn yourself in, comply with probation, or do whatever you have to do to make it right so you are not exposed. This is exactly what is wrong with today’s society. Always giving the criminal the benefit of the doubt.

There’s a monetary difference between Petty Theft and Grand Theft, if the drill was worth 950$ or more it became Grand Theft which actually catches the interest of the L.E.O.’s.
They will tell you that anything below 950$ in value becomes a “civil matter” and as such will do nothing. I’m guessing the drill she stole was worth more than 950$ for her to become a “most wanted” of Sohum.

(Penal Code 484 & 459.5 PC)

Hopefully they get at least the 20 years for the counterfeiting, those two need to stay away for a long time…

They were diffently up to no good to support there habit this is another example of how drugs ruin lives the crimes they were about to commit will put them behind bars for a long time .dope in prison I would guess is expensive ,so there drug days are over. Or jail is becoming the detox center for humboldt co,AND thats I guess is a good thing ,some people get out and stay clean ,but I fear that statistic is very small.
