In the hour following 7 p.m.,   the California Highway Patrol Incident page received reports that two redwood trees had fallen on Bull Creek Road between two to four miles west of Hwy 101. The road is reported to be blocked. One caller stated that a tree fell onto a vehicle. The caller said that the vehicle “looks totaled.”

Rain is falling heavily and wind is blowing hard in the Southern Humboldt area which may have contributed to the trees falling.

Not much of a dodge if it got hit by a tree. On the other hand, if everyone walked away OK, I guess the Dodge did it’s job!

The dislodged dodge made a real hodge-podge near the Redwood lodge.

(It’s tri-chome city this year. Reduced harvest, but high-potency)
