May she rest in peace and her family find strength as they continue life without her. May her child be fully protected in the years to come. May the officers and first responders and emergency folks find rest tonight after such a heartbreaking accident to respond to. Today was so beautiful. Clear, beautiful skies, the river was gorgeous on my drive to work on the 96 today. I am saddened by the loss of life and my hope is that our community on the river can give a bit of help to the family involved. Far too many spots along my commute to work remind me of the lives lost to impaired drivers. If you drive the 96 a lot, you know where and remember when neighbors or relatives died. It is a sad thing for sure.
So sorry to the family.a young life cut short.By the grace of God that baby is alive.God bless this family!!
“Alcohol or drugs are suspected to be a factor in this collision” —- Well let’s hope so…Otherwise what kind of a mother would be driving around with a two year old not in a car seat. the fact that driver was most likely drunk or on drugs makes a little more sense why the baby was unrestrained.
