Handfuls of Home During the Holidays
Snow drifted down and covered much of the Emerald Counties in blanket of downy white this Christmas. A full moon shot diamonds into the glistening snow and the world was magic.
Did you capture any photos of this holiday in our shared home? We’d love to see them.

Thanks for these! I’m curious: Is that a “Pot-bellied Pig” or feral hog? The rooting tusks are why I ask….af
I don’t know. Hopefully, the photographer will chime in.
I’m not the photographer, but it looks like a javelina, that’s what they’re called in Arizona, anyway
I’m voting Pot Bellied Pig.
Yes this is my pot bellied pig Boss Hog 🙂

We live in such a beautiful place!
“We live in such a beautiful place!”
I couldn’t agree more. Beautiful place, beautiful people, and finally some beautiful weather.
yes you sure do!
It was a glorious snowy christmas.
Like the Star…
Be it ever so humble there’s no place like home. My tiny house on a snowy Christmas morning.
I woke up before dawn yesterday to the light of the full moon on freshly fallen snow. It brought back my childhood memories of waking up on Christmas morning before everyone else in the house to see what Santa had brought everyone. “Don’t open anything yet!” was yelled from my parent’s bedroom, then Mama got into her robe and went to the kitchen to put on the coffee and make the orange juice while my sister and I circled the tree checking the tags on the packages like little squirrels searching for nuts. Soon there would be the ripping sound of paper and lots of laughter, pancakes with Log Cabin syrup, country ham, scrambled eggs and Mama’s scratch made biscuits with red eye gravy.
All of this are so fantastic, especially love the one with the house in the trees and the writing that went with it. being a farm girl that lived way out in woods also. it brought back memories of moms biscuit and red eye gravy
So sweet!thank you love the horse.I hope everyone had a great Holiday. And cheers to a New Year full of hope!!
