Tree Blocking 299 West of Willow Creek
The CHP incident page says a tree that is approximately six inches in diameter is blocking Highway 299 about four miles west of Willow Creek at the moment. Attempts have been made to remove the tree from the road, but it is reportedly still rooted in the ground.
We expect the tree will be removed relatively soon. But, for the time being, both lanes of the highway are blocked. We’ll let you know when it’s clear.
Update 11:55 p.m.: It appears that the roadway is clear.
