[UPDATE 8:32 p.m. ] Structure Fire on Patricks Point Drive North of Trinidad
As of about 2 p.m. on Tuesday, a residence in the 600 block of Patrick’s Point Drive is “fully involved” with flames, according to scanner traffic. Three water tenders are at the scene but more have been requested from other fire departments.
UPDATE 2:32 p.m.: Patrick’s Point Drive has been shut down by County Roads.
UPDATE 2:52 p.m.: “Two adult occupants are reported to be out of the structure and accounted for,” reports the Incident Commander.
UPDATE 2:54 p.m.: Red Cross is expected to arrive on the scene about 3:10 p.m.
UPDATE 5:55 p.m.: According to Cal Fire spokesperson Laura Coleman, the Point Incident began at 13:48. A residence and a motor home were engulfed by flames. As of 5:25 p.m. she said, “Crews are continuing to fight the fire because of heavy mop-up and a commitment of resources is expected through the evening.”
There have been no injuries.
