It was a small “allegedly” stolen motorcycle and the kid was in shorts, barefoot, wearing no helmet. Went ripping down the beach, face planted into a rock down near Deadman’s. My co-worker was on scene, transported the kid to the fire station. The motorcycle was retrieved by the owner after being notified by CHP of the accident.

Yes, motorcycle, no helmet. He went through what looked like shallow water, but actually had a dip in it with a rock. He went flying.

I hope he makes a complete and swift recovery.
Hope other youths, and everyone, wear a helmet.

That’s right anything fun that might be even slightly dangerous should be outlawed…… for the children..

Or how about this? Buy your kid a motorcycle when he’s young, teach him to ride, and be responsible and then he won’t STEAL SOMEONE ELSE’S and wreck horribly because he had no idea how to operate the thing!

Yeah, that is so much smarter! Let them go balls out when they turn 18 with no stickin’ experience and time to learn skills and their limits. That was one of the most idiotic comments I’ve seen!!

The beach is not a safe place to drive fast. Rocks and kelp hiding just underneath the sands surface trip up many people.
