[Update 5:40 p.m.: Another Outage] Over 3000 Customers Lose Power in Eureka

Original Post: Over 3000 customers in the Eureka area are without power this morning.

According to the PG&E Outage Center, power went out around 8:24 a.m. At this point, power is estimated to be back on around 11:45 a.m.

Update 10:55 a.m.: Power has been restored to all but 178 people. According to the outage center, “Field personnel have found a downed power line.” Power is estimated to be back on by around 2 p.m.

Update 5:40 p.m.: Readers are alerting us to another power outage in Eureka. The PG&E Outage Center says this outage is also affecting over 3000 customers. This new outage started at 5:17 p.m., and power is estimated to be back on around 6:45 p.m.
