[UPDATE 11:12 p.m.] Injury Accident on West Wabash, Road Closed

imageAn accident occurred on West Wabash between A and B streets at approximately 10:49 p.m. The road is currently closed.

Scanner traffic said there were multiple vehicles involved. “One on its roof.”

Soon after reports came of “one driver and one passenger out of the vehicle.” Then emergency personnel reported, “Two patients with minor injuries.”

There are three cars involved, reports our reporter on the scene, Oliver Cory. “One person was just walked to an ambulance.” There are three vehicles involved. There is a black Buick on its roof, there’s a white F150 with a small amount of front end damage and a blue Thunderbird with serious front end damage.

Fire, ambulance and Eureka Police Department are on scene.

UPDATED 11:12 p.m.: According to the scanner, there are two female patients with minor injures.

The driver of the Buick stated on several occasions she didn’t have a license . Both ladies in the Buick had very minor injuries. Just driving way to fast for Wabash Ave and going the wrong way. . Posted speed limit is 30 mph not 50 plus.

Wow! Sounds like someone should go to jail. Placed in stocks in the town square and publicly shamed at the very least.
