Don’t Worry, Fire at Fox Camp Is Prescribed

With the cooler, damper conditions of fall, preventative fires can be lit. Today, about noon, depending on what the weather is like, Cal Fire is supporting a prescribed fire at Fox Camp which is located in the Humboldt Redwoods State Park.  (See map below)

According to Laura Coleman of Cal Fire, resources committed include: Overhead from both agencies, Copter 102, four Cal Fire engines, (4) Type I Cal Fire hand crews and one Cal Fire dozer on standby.
