[Update: Road Open] Person Trapped in Overturned, Fuel-Leaking Vehicle Near Clam Beach
A vehicle overturned in the Clam Beach area around 9:45 p.m. tonight. The vehicle is near the Highway 101 Crannell Road offramp and Little River Drive (See map below). According to the scanner and CHP Incident Page, there is one person still trapped in the vehicle, and the vehicle is leaking fuel. We’ll continue to update this post as we get more information.
Update 10:05 p.m.: According to the CHP Incident Page, one person has been detained on suspicion of DUI.
Update 10:08 p.m.: Both southbound lanes of Highway 101 are blocked.
Update 10:10 p.m.: A black car and a Toyota pickup were involved.
Update 10:54 p.m.: The road is open.
Update 12:30 a.m.: An update from a person who was in the accident is in the comment section below.

I’m ok, just shaken up. I hope the other guy is alright, they took him away in a police car.
I’d like to thank the lady who administered first aid and checked for shock, she was a great help, the fire crew, ambulance crew, tow truck driver and officers were awsome too.
