Update 9:20 p.m.: According to the CHP Incident Page, AT&T will be bringing “flaggers” to assist with the road closure.

Update 9:25 p.m.: The road may be open in the next 10 minutes.

Update 9:45 p.m.: According to the scanner, the road is clear.

I read these comments and I have to laugh because it seems that no one here knows that the National Guard Armory is on Walnut Drive and this is a standard troop carrier all armories have. National Guard soldiers drive these, not the cops. DUH.

Are you sure it wasn’t somebody’s Grow Dozer? I think that guy cut me off in the safety corridor!

Slow learners. They did the same thing about a year ago on their own property on Dolbeer Street.

Oh my such ignorant statements. National Guard has nothing to do with the police, they are probably practicing maneuvers which all members are required to do one weekend a month. I hope none of you cop haters ever need a cop.

Where does that leave national guard haters?

Banning the military is a leap towards Liberty.

Banning cops is a given…

Water districts should be banned while we’re at it.

Honestly, national guard are used as police against the native people

That National Guard Engineer unit has been there for 50+ years and has helped with floods and fires in the past. But go ahead and keep on bashing good people in the community.
