[UPDATED 12:43 p.m.] Law Enforcement Staging at Maple Hills River Bar
‘Tis still the raiding season even though many farmers were beginning to think they’d made it through til harvest. We’ve received multiple reports that law enforcement is staging at the Eel River just off the Maple Hills Road near Miranda. One person reported seeing five white vehicles plus a helicopter refueling truck. However, no one has reported seeing a helicopter.
We’ll keep you updated on what is happening here.
UPDATED 12:43 p.m.: “They appear to have taken their stuff and gone home,” said one of the neighbors who watched law enforcement drive out a few minutes ago. Law enforcement is no longer on the river bar but instead has headed north on Hwy 101.

Maybe their helicopter was not available…
A lot of the time they will stage the night before and then reconvene in the early am and proceed to “bust”. Probably be there in the a.m. Tomorrow. Luck favors the prepared darlings!!
