Hwy 299 Open/Friday Ridge Road Closed

At 5:42 a.m., emergency dispatch received a report that a semi truck was “high sided” on 299 between Salyer and Willow Creek. Dispatch reports that as of 6:30 a.m. no officers had reached the scene but a witness stated to them that the entire road was blocked.

As of this time, there is no estimated time of reopening.

UPDATE 8:05 a.m.: New reports show the truck driver had actually gone onto Friday Ridge Road. Hwy 299 is open but Friday Ridge Road is closed.
