Woman sent to Hospital after Three-Vehicle Accident in Eureka

A three-vehicle accident near the intersection of Fifth and H Streets in Eureka before 3:45 p.m. today sent one woman to the hospital with minor injuries.

Eureka Police traffic investigator Tim Jones said a Toyota Rav 4, Dodge sedan and Nissan Sentra were traveling eastbound in the righthand lane of Fifth Street when the three vehicles collided.

Jones said the accident “looks relatively low-speed based on the damage.”

The damage to the vehicles appeared to be relatively minor, but the injured woman complained of neck pain and was transported to the hospital by City Ambulance.
