Fence on Fire in Arcata, APD and Firefighters Searching
Scanner traffic indicates the Arcata Fire District and the Arcata Police Department are responding to a report of a fence on fire near the 300 block of South H Street in Arcata. Emergency personnel were requested shortly after 3 a.m. APD and fire crews are in the area attempting to locate the fire. APD reported earlier that there is a heavy smell of smoke in the area.
Update 3:24 a.m.: APD and firefighters were unable to find the fire.
