I drove by this accident, all I can say is holy moly, I thought the person driving must be dead. I am so happy you made it out of that car alive, wow praise God!

My dad always told me if I was traveling fast and a deer was in the road, 9 times out of 10 the deer will not run backwards or turn around, so aim for its butt instead of swerving off the road or into oncoming traffic, and odds are you will miss it.

If you see a deer, grip the wheel at 10-2, aggressively brake, and keep in a straight line. Swerving can put you out of control.
